My Learning Experience!
3 Things I learned:
I probably will not continue to blog. Maybe on facebook and tiwtter.
I will probably never get onto blogger ever again.
But blogging was fun
It's just not for me
- I learned how to keep up with a blog
- I learned how to use a blog
- I learned how to interact with others through blogs

Government Shutting Down!
The federal government is said to be shutting down. The republicans and democrats cannot agree on a budget for 2011. This is the first time in more than fifteen years that the government will shut down. The budget cuts will continue to be negotiated through today after yesterdays meetings were unsuccessful. If the government does shut down, that means no museums and no National Zoo. This will have an impact on workers and tourists. 500,000 people will not be able to witness Washington, D.C’s main attractions. Washington, D.C. will lose some of its appeal.
President Obama is growing tired of the continuous arguing. The two sides are coming up with new ideas for budget cuts every meeting. One member of congress introduced a new idea that will cut budgets by$40 billion. That is $7 billion more than the republicans had previously introduced.
President Obama has invited all of Congress today for another meeting. Congress is fighting for a large amount of budget cuts. The fight will continue on until they figure out a solution. But he recently rejected the proposed cut of $61 billion.
If this issue is not resolved, the government will shut down on Friday night at midnight. IF the government does shut down, tax returns will not be processed.
The government will not be reopened until the congress reaches and agreement or until 2013 when a new congress fill the congressional seats.
Many are rejecting the idea of the government shutting down. A Democrat run senate and Republican run Congress will never come to agreement.
